Contemporary Forums and the NFI collaborate to present the Developmental Interventions in Neonatal Care Conference to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada, November 13-16, 2011.
The NIDCAP Federation International and Contemporary Forums have joined together this year to collaborate on the 27th annual "Developmental Interventions in Neonatal Care" conference, which is an outstanding program, bringing together national experts, including a number of NIDCAP trainers to discuss strategies for providing individualized, developmentally supportive and family-centered care for fragile infants.
Evidence continues to grow that the cascade of ongoing stimuli in the NICU significantly affects the neuromotor and neurosensory development of high-risk infants. It is incumbent on the NICU team to recognize the brain’s vulnerability at this important time and institute caregiving practices which support resilience and improve developmental outcomes. The specialized faculty from the fields of medicine, nursing, psychology, physical therapy, education and rehabilitative medicine will help you translate the research in this field to practical strategies for supporting the fragile infant’s developmental and behavioral needs.
Join your colleagues for an educational experience that will help you focus on what is critical for improving outcomes for the fragile infant – individualized developmentally-supportive, family-centered care.
Join the NFI now and qualify for the $30 discount on the Main Conference tuition.
