Membership in the NIDCAP Federation International

The NFI offers professionals, trainees and families the opportunity to become members and to support the mission and goals of the NFI. As a membership organization, the NFI depends on the support of its members to ensure sustainability.

Professional Members: $115
NIDCAP Student Members: $40
Family Members: $50

Once the NFI Board of Directors has approved your application, you will receive an Acceptance Letter and an invoice for your dues.

Type of Membership

One goal of the NFI is to create an organization that supports the advancement of NIDCAP to all nurseries. This requires a strong, worldwide membership. As Dalia Silberstein stated, “… the NIDCAP community worldwide can make a significant contribution … in overcoming barriers to sensitive preterm infant care. We can strengthen each other…” (Developmental Observer, Vol. 4 No. 1, p 17) As our membership grows we are creating our own ‘worldwide web’ of support, information, ideas, strategies and energy.
